A letter from our Branch President

Dear Fellow Motorhomer,

Our branch, the Sydney Sundowners of Auswide Motorhome Club Inc is available to prospective members generally residing in the area bounded by Wollongong in the south, Gosford in the north and to the far west of Sydney.

Our club nationally has approx 400/500 members with branches in Tasmania, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland and New South Wales. Our aim is to provide an affordable relaxing atmosphere with regular outings or trips.

Our annual fees are $30 for a couple or $20 for a single person.

We have an annual rally, last year in Queensland, this year in Tasmania and next year in Victoria. To these rallies we would normally get between 80 and 120 vehicles, provide some of the entertainment ourselves and generally have a relaxing time. These annual rallies usually last for a week with the total cost for a couple in the vicinity of $130 / $150 including the Rally Dinner and a powered site.

Our branch has outings both midweek and weekends, at a different location each time, depending on the wishes of the members. It is not our intention to grow to such a size that it becomes difficult to find suitable venues, however a certain number of members is necessary to ensure outings are successful.

If you are finding difficulty obtaining insurance for your motorhome our organisation can assist even if you are not a member.
